Yes, I've been able to create models I've printed via FreeCAD - but I've typically designed that model 3-4 times from scratch in FreeCAD fixing issues, mine or just recovering from a crash. the FUSION 360 is Windows only and me being a Linux zealot that's not an option. OpenSCAD was my go-to, I had a short fling with Blender but it didn't really like parameterized models - FreeCAD advertised all the things and then some that I think a hobbyist like me need.
